We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high-stakes, strategic initiatives during a critical period of organizational transformation. This is a "roll-up-your-sleeves" environment where you will be expected to bring clarity to ambiguity, manage complex vendor relationships, and deliver results under tight deadlines without the need for hand-holding. The immediate priority for this role is overseeing a critical Data Warehouse Migration and Tenant Migration, focusing on data purging strategies to optimize costs and system performance.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain comprehensive, project plans (Gantt charts) including predecessors, task owners, and critical path analysis.
  • Lead the strategic migration of data to new tenants and data lake warehouses. Coordinate "data purge" initiatives to identify redundant data and drive cost savings.
  • Manage third-party Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and vendors. Review Statements of Work (SOWs), hold vendors accountable to milestones, and bridge the gap between vendor delivery and business value.
  • Support ad-hoc projects across Marketing (Email/SMS campaigns) and E-Commerce while collaborating with Data Architecture and Infrastructure teams.
  • Implement project management "101" fundamentals in a fluid, post-bankruptcy environment where tribal knowledge is limited and documentation is evolving.

Must Haves:
  • 7+ years of IT Project Management experience
  • Deep experience in data warehouse migrations, data mapping, and data purging/cleanup projects
  • Managed Services (MSP) Experience: Expertise in a vendor-heavy model; ability to drive third-party teams without having direct internal resources.
  • Expert-level skills in Excel and Microsoft Planner. This is a lean environment—you must be able to produce professional tracking and dashboards without expensive PPM software.
  • Comfort operating in a hybrid Waterfall/Agile environment, prioritizing the method that best fits the specific project’s needs.
  • Experience gathering requirements from business stakeholders or vendors.

Nice-to-Haves:
  • Experience in Retail or companies undergoing Private Equity/Bankruptcy turnaround.
  • Prior Business Analyst experience.
  • Knowledge of Marketing Technology (Email/SMS campaign tools).
  • M&A or Divestiture Experience: Past performance in high-pressure environments involving company split-offs or PE firm acquisitions.
  • PMP Certification: Preferred for the sake of methodology
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Tenant migrations,
