As Human Resources Director, you will lead the full HR function for a multi-location community health center, ensuring compliant, consistent people practices that support organizational goals and employee effectiveness.
Key responsibilities include:
- Direct and administer HR plans, policies, and procedures; maintain and update the employee handbook
- Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, employee relations, investigations, and performance management
- Lead compensation strategy, salary analysis, and evaluation processes
- Guide benefits administration and leave practices; partner with external vendors as needed
- Ensure thorough compliance with Hawaii and federal employment laws; represent the organization in claims/hearings as applicable
- Supervise HR staff and maintain accurate HR records and reporting
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
- PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP certification
- 5+ years in HR management in a 100+ employee organization
- Deep working knowledge of state and federal employment laws
