Guidewire Integration Developer Job Description

A Guidewire Integration Developer is responsible for designing developing and maintaining integrations between the Guidewire Insurance Suite applications PolicyCenter and external systems Including Comp Raters This role is essential for ensuring seamless data exchange system interoperability and scalable highperforming insurance operations

Key Responsibilities

1 Integration Design Development

Design and build integrations using the Guidewire Integration Framework including Gosubased plugins messaging and web services
Develop SOAPREST APIs to support realtime and asynchronous communication across systems
Configure inboundoutbound integrations such as message queues event messaging batch processes and data exchange pipelines

2 Collaboration Requirements Analysis

Work closely with business analysts architects and QA teams to refine requirements and deliver scalable integration solutions
Interpret user stories estimate integration efforts and propose technical integration solutions

3 Integration with Guidewire Core Systems

Build and enhance integrations for PolicyCenter BillingCenter and ClaiCliententer leveraging OOTB APIs and standardized cloudnative integration patterns
Develop integrations involving thirdparty systems such as Lexis Nexis fraud detection tools payment gateways document systems and customer portals

4 Technical Implementation Configuration

Implement messaging event triggers plugin interfaces and data transformations using Gosu and XMLJSON structures
Extend data models and manage application configuration changes related to integration behavior

5 Testing Troubleshooting Deployment

Perform unit integration and system testing monitor queues debug integration issues using Guidewire logs and testing tools
Support deployment activities participate in code reviews ensure compliance with best practices and security guidelines

Required Skills Qualifications

Technical Skills

4 years Guidewire development experience with a strong focus on integrations
Proficiency in
Guidewire Integration Framework
Gosu programming
SOAPREST Web Services
XML JSON XSD
Messaging systems
Comp Raters
Strong understanding of PC insurance domain processes
Experience with Guidewire Cloud or onprem implementations CICD pipelines and DevOps tools?
