Join Our Team as a Gastroenterology Physician Make a Difference in Patient Care
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gastroenterology Physician to provide exceptional care in a hospital setting. This vital role involves managing inpatient GI cases, performing endoscopies, and offering specialized expertise to adult and adolescent patients. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will contribute to improving patient outcomes while working in a supportive environment that values your skills and dedication.
Required Skills:
- Active Arkansas medical license
- DEA certification
- Proven experience in gastroenterology procedures, including endoscopies
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience managing GI bleeds and complex GI cases
- Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably Epic
- Prior inpatient rounding experience
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
- Minimum of 2 years of post-residency experience in a hospital or clinical setting
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work call shifts and scheduled weekends ( Fridays 5 PM - Mondays 7 AM)
- Willing to obtain licensure in Arkansas if not already licensed
- Ability to perform night shifts (2x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
- Local candidates preferred, but open to qualified out-of-area physicians willing to travel
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly Pay Rate: $3,120.00
