About the Role
This is an open call for builders who'd rather show what they've made than talk about it. A pre-seed AI startup in the talent/recruiting space is looking for early-stage contributors across engineering, product, design, and operations. If you're selected, you'll be introduced to a relevant role — either within the core team or at one of the startup's partner companies.
Two Paths
Path 1: Future Founder
You'll probably start something one day — just not yet. Right now you want to see how a high-conviction startup runs from the inside: ship fast, touch every part of the business, and be in the room when decisions get made.
Path 2: Ready to Focus
You've led as a founder, CTO, or the person who kept the whole thing running. You've built teams, raised money, and made it work. Now you want to go deep on one problem with people who are excellent at what they do.
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record of shipping real products, features, apps, or communities with demonstrable user impact
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js for full-stack development; familiarity with React
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
- Ability to work across functions — product, go-to-market, engineering, and operations
- Comfortable making decisions under uncertainty without waiting for permission
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership and accountability
- Portfolio or examples of shipped work required (no cover letter needed)
Nice to Have
- Prior founding experience or significant early-stage startup exposure
- Background in AI, recruiting tech, or marketplace products
Location & Work Arrangement
- Based in Los Angeles, CA or open to remote candidates who can work across US and European time zones (San Francisco / Berlin-friendly)
- Occasional travel may be required
- Visa sponsorship is available
How to Apply
Submit a portfolio or concrete examples of work you've shipped. No cover letter required — show, don't tell.
