The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely moving raw materials, components, and finished goods within the production facility to support efficiency and production flow.
- Operate forklifts and handling equipment to deliver materials to workstations and transport finished products to storage or shipping areas.
- Load and unload inbound raw materials and outbound shipments, ensuring proper stacking and storage.
- Perform daily equipment inspections, follow safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and GMP standards.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation, maintain clean work areas.
- Communicate effectively with production teams and supervisors.
- Qualifications include forklift certification, 1+ year experience preferred, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong safety awareness.
- Work environment involves exposure to noise, machinery, dust, and temperature variations, with PPE required. May involve rotating shifts, weekends, or overtime.
