We are currently seeking Forklift Drivers in the Southaven area for all shifts.
Job Summary
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating industrial trucks to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise within a warehouse or distribution center. This role ensures efficient handling of goods while maintaining safety standards and supporting overall warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, transport, and stack materials.
- Move products to and from storage areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, and containers.
- Inspect forklifts daily before use and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory by recording product movement and performing cycle counts.
- Ensure proper placement and organization of goods in designated storage areas.
- Follow all warehouse safety guidelines and OSHA regulations.
- Assist with picking, packing, labeling, and staging products as needed.
- Secure loads to ensure safe transport within the facility.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members, supervisors, and inventory staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification).
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment preferred.
- Basic math and inventory skills.
- Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and safety.
