We are on the hunt for a seasoned and detail-oriented Permanent Foreclosure Paralegal with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Legal industry. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of foreclosure processes, specializing in the jurisdictions of New York and New Jersey. Familiarity with CaseMax or equivalent software is a must. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where your expertise will be valued and your contributions will make a difference.

Responsibilities

1. Manage and organize foreclosure files from referral to post-sale.
2. Draft and review legal documents such as notices, motions, and affidavits.
3. Coordinate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel to ensure all necessary steps are taken in a timely manner.
4. Utilize CaseMax or equivalent software for case management, tracking, and reporting.
5. Conduct legal research and provide updates on foreclosure laws and regulations in NY and NJ.
6. Prepare and submit reports to clients regarding the status of foreclosure cases.
7. Attend court proceedings as required and assist attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings.
8. Ensure all foreclosure activities are in compliance with state and federal laws.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Foreclosure Paralegal or in a similar role.
2. Proficiency in NY and NJ foreclosure laws and processes.
3. Strong experience with CaseMax or equivalent case management software.
4. Paralegal certification or degree from an accredited institution.
5. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
8. Proven ability to conduct comprehensive legal research.
9. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
10. High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
