Field Operator III

Description:
This is a 4 month contract position supporting field inspections for the City of Corona.

Schedule
7 am start time, Four 10-hour days
Monday through Thursday

Location
Meet daily in Mira Loma
Job site is in Corona
A  employee will transport workers to and from the job site

Responsibilities
Perform inspections and checks on fire hydrants and water valves
Inspect approximately 50 to 60 hydrants or valves per day
Work as part of a three-person truck team
Get in and out of the truck throughout the day
Set up traffic cones and maintain a safe work area
Work outdoors in all weather conditions

Qualifications
Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
Mechanical background preferred
Inspection experience preferred
Field operator experience is a plus
Basic understanding of water systems preferred
Must be reliable and punctual
Comfortable with physical, outdoor work
