We are seeking a dedicated Faculty RN Program Instructor to join our team and support our mission values and strategic plan initiatives.About the RoleThe Faculty RN Program Instructor provides high-quality instruction for students in our ASN and Practical Nursing programs - including classroom lab and clinical teaching. This role also supports curriculum development student advising program enrollment efforts and institutional and community service activities.Key ResponsibilitiesInstruction & Classroom SupportDeliver assigned classes in line with college policies and course objectives.Develop and maintain course materials including outlines syllabi lesson plans assignments and exams.Maintain accurate student records grades and documentation.Ensure a safe organized classroomlab environment including proper equipment and supplies.Professional Development & College SupportParticipate in professional development activities to advance instructional and technical skills.Engage in community service activities to strengthen the colleges local relationships.Support curriculum development accreditation efforts and departmentcollege-wide initiatives.Provide student advising during registration periods and maintain posted office hours.Support the Program Chair in program management tasks.Attend and actively participate in department meetings.Organizational StandardsComplete mandatory training annual competencies and health requirements on time.Maintain required licensescertifications in good standing including BCLSCPR.Follow all safety compliance and regulatory requirements.Embrace Beacons six-point Operating System - The Beacon WayLeverage innovation everywhereCultivate human talentEmbrace performance improvementBuild greatness through accountabilityUse information to improve and advanceCommunicate clearly and continuouslyWhat You Need to SucceedEducation & LicensureMasters degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution orBachelors degree in Nursing with RN licensure in Indiana plus enrollment in an MSN program or willingness to complete an MSN within three years.Active Registered Nurse license in Indiana.ExperienceMinimum of two years of directly related work experience in nursing.Preferred Previous teaching experience in higher education.Skills & AttributesStrong interpersonal and communication skills verbal and written.Ability to work independently show initiative and be self-motivated.Commitment to supporting students from diverse backgrounds and experiences.Working ConditionsThis role requires flexibility to adapt to frequent changes in job demands.Must be able to meet the physical demands of teaching including lab and clinical instruction.MISSION We deliver outstanding care inspire health and connect with heart.VALUES Trust.
