Our client, is a Automotive Manufacturing company, is looking for a Export and Non- Retail Operations Analyst for their Warren, MI/Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • The Export and Non- Retail Operations analyst is a dual purpose role supporting both Export and Non-Retail (Envolve) Operations.
  • This role is designed to bridge operational execution with strategic support, ensuring alignment, efficiency, and continuity across both areas. The ideal candidate is adaptable, comfortable balancing priorities, switching contexts, and collaborating across teams
  • Single point of contact for assigned accounts, including daily interface with Client subsidiaries, Client North America Export Operations, Logistics, suppliers, Client subject matter experts and dealers/distributors in the export markets. Liaison with
  • Export Operations Managers on various order-to-delivery related issues.
  • The focus in this position is to assist in resolving current issues, providing solutions that benefit both Client and customer, and to encourage and share best practices.
  • Primarily responsible for tracking all orders for export markets from Order-to-Delivery (OTD)
  • Inform and follow up with export customers on all order entry issues, order rejects, changes to orders like options, ship to and orders cancellations (if applicable).
  • Responsible for tracking and updating all MVBs (Manufacturing Validation Build) status on weekly basis.
  • Follow up with respective teams (logistics, finance, export product managers, MVB coordinators and markets) on any changes that affect the launch of products within export markets. Highlight any issues to Export
  • Operations Manager on a weekly basis.
  • Prepare manual invoices for MVBs (if needed).
  • Co-ordinate with DF Young on logistics and financial transactions, including; Credit & Rebill Reconsignments
  • Special moves (airfreight, spot buy etc…)
  • Generate, analyze and review weekly report on order issues with Export Operations Manager on
  • Orders not released for production/
  • No assignment of Target Production Weeks (TPW)
  • Delayed TPWs
  • Orders built and not released to logistics
  • Follow up with offshore plants (SGMW, SGM etc...) on any issues that hamper the follow of events from their systems to various Client systems for both MVBs and regular production orders.
  • Participate in monthly calls with markets on demand submission, logistics calls along with Export Operations Manager.
  • Create Order Work Bench (OWB) user ids for export dealers and co-ordinate with teams to provide systems access (Vlogistics tool).
  • Coordinate with IT teams to resolve all export customers issues related to OWB delivery reporting.
  • Support logistics team on any queries on shipment by coordinating with port processors and DFY team.
  • Able to quickly learn and execute various ad hoc reports in Client systems like VOMS, POMS, VTIMS, Vlogistics Tool etc…
Non- Retail
Responsibilities
  • The Analyst will support a weekly leadership review by producing recurring analyses and presentation content.
  • This role is responsible for driving forecast discipline, monitoring plan adherence, and identifying adjustments required for future forecasts.
  • Calculate and report weekly Balance-to-go (BTG) for Fleet forecast versus actual orders
  • Monitor Non-Retail order placement to ensure alignment with approved plan
  • Proactively identifies scheduling and production issues and provides data-drive insights to support issue resolution
  • Support Fleet production scheduling requests and related planning activities
 
Requirements:
  • High level of analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying key issues and resolving root causes.
  • Demonstrate relationship-building skills with the ability to interact with the customer via email and phone conversations.
  • Understand unique customer needs across various countries.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple activities through various Client systems such as VOM / ORDER WORKBENCH, POMS,
  • VTIMS, BARS, V-Logistics – DF Young, GMDID, VinView (Freight Verify).
