Responsibilities include
- developing strategic priorities, supporting governance, and fostering collaboration across sectors
- advancing food policy, advocacy, and government relations
- coordinating community and stakeholder engagement, especially in urban agriculture and food access
- overseeing research, data use, and systems change initiatives
- driving fundraising, financial management, and organizational operations
- serving as the public voice and ensuring effective communication
- The ideal candidate has 5 years of leadership experience, knowledge of food systems or policy, fundraising expertise, and strong facilitation skills. Preferred attributes include a commitment to food justice, strategic thinking, coalition-building, and cultural competence.
