About the Role
This opportunity is with a well-established 24/7 emergency and specialty veterinary hospital in the Los Angeles area seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join its collaborative medical team.
In this role, you will provide urgent and critical care for patients presenting with emergency medical needs while working alongside experienced veterinary professionals in a supportive hospital environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing emergency care for sick and injured patients
Triage, assessment, and stabilization of critical cases
Developing diagnostic and treatment plans
Managing hospitalized patients
Overseeing veterinary technicians implementing treatment plans
Performing emergency procedures and surgeries
Delivering a high level of patient and client care

Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent
Active veterinary license (or ability to obtain) in the state of employment
DEA license or eligibility
Experience in emergency medicine preferred
Internship training or previous emergency experience strongly valued
Compensation
Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials.
Typical full-time compensation range:
$200,000 – $250,000 annually under a PROSAL compensation model
