This position involves performing electrical service, repairs, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency responses in compliance with safety codes.
Responsibilities include installing and disconnecting switchgear, transformers, lighting, and emergency systems; troubleshooting electrical issues in transfer switches and circuits; repairing breakers, motors, and wiring; inspecting equipment for safety and code compliance; testing systems for safety; diagnosing malfunctions; assembling and maintaining electrical components; managing parts inventory; practicing safe work habits and maintaining a clean workspace.
Qualifications include at least one year of journey-level electrician experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong customer service skills.
Working conditions may involve exposure to hazards, dust, fumes, loud noises, and physical activity, including moving objects over 50 pounds and working flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
