Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and other factors.)Shift Schedule: 1st shift Monday - Friday 5am - 1pm or 7am - 3pmShift Differential: 1st shift - N/AAs an Electrician 2you will:Install, calibrate and maintain electrical systems and process control devicesTroubleshoot electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systemsDiagnose and propose repair solutions for electrical power, electrical control and process control equipmentAssist in the planning, budgeting and implementation of electrically related facility projectsOperate hoists, lift trucks, hand tools and power toolsDevelop and maintain proper use, care, and safety skills of all hand, power, welding and any other tools necessary for use in the course of this job.Fabricate, assemble, and install electrical panels and all associated wiringRole Qualifications as an Electrician 2:High school education or equivalent.Preferred technical education in electricityCurrent Minnesota Journeyman Electrician License is required and it must be maintainedBasic knowledge of process sensors/transmittersBasic Knowledge of electrical safety devices (breakers, fuses, etc.)Electrical troubleshooting and repair skillsStrong working knowledge of electrical work practices and guidelines to include those outlined by the National Electrical Code (NEC)Proficient interpreting blueprints and technical drawingsWork independently with little supervisionEffective and appropriate oral communication skills including legible handwriting in EnglishWhy Millerbernd and Who We Are:We strive to create the best opportunities for our employees.
