Educational Assistant - Special Education

Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one with small groups of children
• Work one-on-one with individual students
• Support learning by "floating" and acting as additional support during class activities or lessons
• Assist with the movement of children throughout the building
• Assist in keeping children on task
• Assist in supervising all activities to ensure the safety of each child at all times
• Use discipline techniques that provide positive guidance, redirection, and the setting of clear cut
