As the director of community standards, you will provide training and indirect supervision to residence life staff on issues related to the conduct process, as well as advising hearing officers at the Atlanta and Lacoste, France, locations to ensure consistency of policy implementation. Responsibilities include adjudicating cases involving off and on campus students who violate university policies and determining sanctions for students found responsible for violations; counseling individual students regarding their rights and responsibilities; and assisting with the development, implementation, and monitoring of appropriate educational sanctions, assessing data to support such efforts. In this position you will be expected to manage the conduct database, develop and implement student conduct assessments to measure effectiveness, maintain appropriate documents for the conduct process, and serve in the on-call rotation to respond to emergencies and provide guidance in crises.
