Job Title: Data Analyst II
Location: Roseville, MN (Hybrid)
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (Standard Business Hours)
Hybrid schedule with in-office expectation Tuesday – Thursday
Contract Type: 12-month contract
Pay Rate: Up to $65.51/hr

System One is seeking a Data Analyst II to support backend data alignment and master data management within a regulated environment. This role will focus on setting up and maintaining master data within SAP, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance across projects and assets. The Data Analyst will play a critical role in supporting accounting, audit, and regulatory requirements by ensuring data integrity and alignment across systems.

Responsibilities
• Set up and maintain master data within SAP, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business and financial requirements
• Create and manage Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) elements to support project and asset tracking
• Review, validate, and process data requests through SAP FICO and related systems
• Support data flow from Master Data Online (MDO) into SAP ECC, ensuring consistency and accuracy
• Perform detailed data entry, validation, and reconciliation across multiple systems
• Partner with business teams, financial governance, and compliance groups to ensure data integrity
• Participate in daily team touchpoints to review requests, resolve issues, and validate data setup
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency in data management workflows
• Maintain documentation and ensure traceability of data for audit and compliance purposes
• Support backend data alignment efforts to ensure proper setup of assets and projects

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
• 5–7 years of experience working with master data, backend data processes, or data management
• Experience working with SAP, preferably SAP ECC
• Strong understanding of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and data structures
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage large volumes of data accurately
• Experience supporting accounting, audit, or compliance-related data processes
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in utilities or other regulated environments
• Familiarity with Master Data Online (MDO) or similar data intake tools
• Experience supporting financial data governance or compliance teams
• Exposure to SAP FICO processes
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvements
