As a Cybersecurity Specialist at VigorCare Pediatric Services, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our network and information systems. You will work closely with our IT team to identify potential security threats and implement measures to prevent and mitigate them. Your role will be crucial in protecting our organization's data and maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the security of our network and information systems
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Identify and analyze potential security risks and develop strategies to address them
- Implement and maintain security protocols, procedures, and tools
- Conduct security audits and provide recommendations for improvements
- Train employees on security best practices and protocols
- Respond to security incidents and provide timely resolution
- Collaborate with IT team to ensure security measures are integrated into new systems and applications
- Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as HIPAA and GDPR
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related role
- Strong knowledge of network and information security principles
- Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption methods
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant certifications, such as CISSP or CISM, are a plus
