This position involves joining a team to maintain and enhance Cleveland's urban forest through hands-on conservation activities such as tree watering, pruning, invasive species removal, and site maintenance. Serving from June to September, members will work outdoors in various weather conditions, perform physical labor, and engage with community members to promote urban tree canopy equity. The role offers certifications, professional development, and a Segal AmeriCorps Education Award upon completion. Requirements include physical stamina, teamwork, safety awareness, and commitment to service, with a focus on environmental justice and community engagement. Service hours total 450, with a weekly schedule Tuesday–Saturday, 8am–4:30pm, and allowances provided. Personal vehicle is not required, and accommodations are not included.
