Hours: 40 hours per week, standard Monday- Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm, flexibility is required on evenings and weekends
FLSA status: non-exempt

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Position Summary
The Coordinator of Academic Data is responsible for the accurate maintenance, management, and continuous improvement of degree audit data systems. This position plays a critical role in supporting student academic progress by ensuring degree plan data is current, accurate, and accessible across multiple institutional platforms.
Statement of Duties and Responsibilities:
Enters and regularly updates all degree plan data in the degree audit system to ensure accuracy and currency.
Troubleshoots degree audit errors, including substitutions, waivers, and other necessary modifications.
Provides direct support to the Associate Director of Academic Data Analytics for degree audit development as needed.
Generates and delivers regular reports on degree audit issues to help identify areas requiring higher-level review or systemic changes.
Liaises with academic advisors to identify and address needs for degree audit updates or corrections.
Coordinates with the Director of Curriculum Effectiveness on change requests requiring administrative approval or policy decisions.
(20%) Degree Plan Data Management in Additional Systems
Enters degree plan data into the Curricular Analytics online tool to support the Curriculum Effectiveness office (5%).
Creates and manages Learning Programs within the UTEP Coursera platform; responds to faculty and student access inquiries and coordinates with the Coursera team for troubleshooting (5%).
Enters data into badging software and issues credentials in support of Microcredential pathways at UTEP (10%)
Knowledge of all Microsoft Office software and able to learn and use institutional software systems.
Complies with all State and University policies.
Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.

Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with application administration and managing data across multiple software platforms. Experience with Banner or a similar student information system
