General PurposeThe Cargo Warehouse Logistics Coordinator supervises and supports the logistics of the supply chain responsible for providing customer intermodal cross‑dock and warehousing services, including receiving, sorting, staging, scanning, and dispatching of airfreight, air‑mail, e‑commerce and other cargo at air‑freight docks and cargo facilities. Daily review of the flash report is conducted via the business partner software platform from the prior shift. The coordinator identifies and escalates open cases to local management and submits Delay Details / 5‑Why information via the partner platform within the 6‑hour outbound deadline.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCheck inbound flight load plans and calculate needed outbound line haul trailers.Submit ad‑hoc requests, if needed, to capture all outbound volume prior to flight arrival.Assign trucks to dock doors using the Yard Management System.Complete BOL paperwork and check trailers into and out of the building.Update downstream facilities (AMZL and Sort Center locations) of any late departing loads or required ad‑hoc scheduled trailers.Communicate with ROC regarding impacted trailer delays or ad‑hoc scheduling requirements.Communicate with NCC regarding impacted flight delays, rolled freight, or situations impacting flight performance (e.g., weather, unserviceable equipment).Escalate risks to safety, quality, productivity, or customer promise, per the escalation matrix, to the GM and Regional Gateway Manager (RGM).Send flash reports and maintain daily record keeping.Maintain a truck control log to be attached to the flash report.Track open cases that impact the following shift.Perform routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, equipment, and facilities, with or without powered equipment.Physical DemandsPerforms bending, squatting, kneeling, walking, climbing, and reaching from ground level to overhead; must be able to grip objects. Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry items such as heavy objects, luggage, and packages (up to 75 pounds) in and out of aircraft within confined cargo space or onto/from a conveyor belt. Must respond to audio alarms and distinguish color for aircraft wingtip and instrument panel lights. May be required to stand for long periods.Work EnvironmentWorks both indoors and outdoors with exposure to extreme weather, dust, and pollen. May encounter mechanical, electrical, chemical, and toxic waste hazards related to aircraft, vehicles, equipment, and fuel. Subject to noise, strong odors, fumes, poor lighting during night work. Environment is fast‑paced and high‑stress.Other Requirements and QualificationsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.Proficiency in arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) in all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rates, percentages, and interpret bar graphs.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and handle multiple abstract and concrete variables.Comfortable working in a high‑noise environment.Capable of working with minimal supervision.Strong cognitive skills to set priorities and use independent judgment.Ability to handle stress.Must be able to lift at least 70 pounds.Regularly reports for work on a timely basis.Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school.Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.Highly organized and attentive to detail.Capable of working under pressure to produce high performance.Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and holidays.#J-18808-Ljbffr
