Abbey Road Farm is a working 82-acre farm, bed & breakfast and event venue in the heart of wine country. Home of the Silo Suites, tasting room, winery, event venue and vineyard.
We are hiring for a part time cook's position here at Abbey Road Farm, Saturday and Sunday mornings, roughly 16-20 hours per week. We need someone with excellent customer service skills, great time management and the ability to adapt well to the ever-changing challenges that come with working on a farm. This position will be responsible for executing our elevated, five course, farm-to-table breakfast for the guests of our Bed and Breakfast, while working closely with our chefs.
There is an on-site chef's garden a few feet from where breakfast is served. We harvest as much food as possible from our own property, fruit, vegetables as well as eggs and meat from our pigs. During the height of summer, there will be potential for more hours, this position will do some weeding, vegetable harvesting and preservation work.
This is a busy property with many departments; there are opportunities to participate in winemaker dinners and other special events if desired and if time allows.
