General Summary:
The AFSO reports directly to the FSO and assists in the development, implementation, and maintenance of security procedures as required by Kratos SRE, the Department of War, the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), and the National Industrial Security Manual (NISPOM); and the FSO with the overall security program. The program includes following processes for submitting new employee security clearances, tracking the progress of security clearance investigations; and performing administrative functions related to the roll and responsibilities associated with the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), National Industrial Security Program (NISP) Central Access Information Security System (NCAISS), and Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing legacy systems.
This position provides security briefings, debriefings, and awareness training for site personnel; processes incoming and outgoing visit requests and certifications; reviews required forms, processes, and screens security forms; and ensures document control security by safeguarding controlled unclassified information and classified material in accordance with the NISPOM and through coordination with government agencies and the FSO.
