Minimum 2 years plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience in NY (motion practice, depositions, negotiation, medical records review)
Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills; client-facing experience
Proven ability to manage files, prioritize deadlines, and supervise support staff
Professional, collaborative, and client-centered approach
Key responsibilities:
Manage caseload from intake through resolution under partner supervision
Draft pleadings, motions, demand packages, settlement agreements, and client correspondence
Take and defend depositions; prepare witnesses for trial
Oversee discovery and e‑discovery workflows; coordinate with vendors and medical reviewers
Negotiate with insurers and opposing counsel; drive settlement strategy
Supervise paralegals and junior staff; maintain case budgets and calendars
Participate in client meetings and trial preparation
Raiser, Kenniff & Lonstein is a plaintiff personal injury firm with Manhattan and Garden City offices. We seek a driven Personal Injury Associate with 2+ years of plaintiff-side PI litigation experience to manage cases under partner supervision.
