Competent and experienced OB RN. RN must have relevant experience in labor and delivery, triage, and c-sections. RN must be able to care for low-risk, pregnant moms as well as stabilize preterm and high-risk patients for transfer. RN must be comfortable working independently in a level 1 nursery to care for well-born neonates 35 weeks and older. RN must be able to quickly stabilize sick newborns with the support of an interdisciplinary team (peds call, RN, supervisor, respiratory therapy) and prepare for transfer to higher level care.
Shift: 12-hour shifts, Nights, 1900 - 0730; flexible nights. 36 hours/week Weekends: Every other weekend Holidays: No On-Call: May be placed on low-census on-call depending on volumes of the department No guaranteed hours, OT after 40 hours
