Position: Business Operations Manager
Location: Lawrenceville, GA
SMP Corporation seeks a Business Operations Manager to oversee wholesale operations of polyester film and related plastic materials.
Duties include:
Oversee business operations for the wholesale distribution of polyester (PET) film and related plastic materials, including coordination of sales, logistics, and supply chain functions; develop strategies for sourcing, inventory, pricing, and customer fulfillment; perform technical and commercial evaluation of product specifications to ensure alignment with customer requirements; coordinate with overseas suppliers and domestic customers on orders, delivery, and quality standards; manage vendor relationships and negotiate commercial terms; supervise operational staff and oversee hiring and performance management; analyze sales data and market trends to support strategic decision-making; ensure compliance with trade regulations and company policies; and prepare reports while implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and cost control.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive experience in business operations management.
