General Purpose of the Job
The Billing Analyst is responsible for producing accurate and timely customer invoices through the analysis of billing, production, and pricing information. This role identifies and resolves discrepancies, supports compliance with billing procedures and SOX controls, and contributes to overall billing accuracy and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate and timely customer invoices across varying levels of complexity.
- Analyze production, pricing, and billing information to determine billable and non-billable items and identify discrepancies.
- Investigate and resolve billing issues to ensure invoice accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
- Adhere to all applicable SOX controls and departmental standard operating procedures.
- Consistently meet established quality, accuracy, and productivity expectations.
Job Requirements
Education: High School diploma
Experience: 1 year billing or relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to management multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong reading comprehension and basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and diverse team environment.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes and responsibilities.
- Employees can be expected to be paid an hourly range of $20-$25, based on variations in knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions.
