Job Summary:
As a part-time Bartender at GolfSuites Baton Rouge, you will create a fun, energetic, and memorable experience for every guest. Bartenders are responsible for preparing beverages, providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and helping create a positive atmosphere throughout the venue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to GolfSuites recipes and standards
- Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service to all guests
- Verify guest age and follow all alcohol service laws and company policies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area
- Accurately ring in orders and process payments
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond quickly to guest needs
- Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with opening, closing, stocking, and cleaning duties
- Uphold GolfSuites standards for hospitality, cleanliness, and safety
Requirements:
- MUST have East Baton Rouge Parish Bar Card!!!
- Friday-Sunday availability is REQUIRED!!!!
- Previous bartending or restaurant experience preferred
- Must have a current and unexpired Food Handler’s Permit
- Demonstrated energy and enthusiasm
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of self-awareness, integrity, and receptiveness to feedback
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions for extended periods
- Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including maneuvering stairs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stoop and bend
Compensation: $7.25 an hour + tip share
