Responsibilities

Safely maneuver, park, and transit vehicles within the depot and on public roads.

Operate vans, trucks, or specialized fleet vehicles as required for deployment or service needs.

Charging & Power: Set up vehicles for charging, manage plug-in/unplug cycles, and monitor power states.

Sanitization: Perform interior/exterior cleaning, disinfecting, and biohazard removal to meet high cleanliness standards.

Hardware Setup: Install, gather, and transport computer equipment; assist with simple vehicle adjustments and settings.

Inventory: Support asset management, including check-in/check-out processes and packaging equipment for repair/shipping.

Software & Data: Utilize proprietary apps and GSuite to log tasks, monitor vehicle states, and communicate upload errors or high-priority data transfers.

Troubleshooting: Perform basic technical troubleshooting during shift startup and software updates.

Reporting: Complete daily reports and checklists (Start-of-Shift/End-of-Shift) to ensure operational transparency and safety compliance.

Requirements

Minimum: High School Diploma or GED. (4-year degree in applied sciences or a related field is a plus).

Driving History: Minimum of 3 years of licensed driving experience on public roads.

Compliance: Must maintain a clean driving record that meets State Autonomous Vehicle Tester (AVT) regulations (typically <1 point, no DUIs, and no at-fault accidents involving injury).

Skills & Competencies

Tech Savvy: Proficient with touchscreen smartphones (Android/iOS), GSuite (Sheets, Docs, Chat), and comfortable learning new proprietary software.

Typing: Ability to type at least 40 WPM.

Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for relaying technical errors to engineering teams.

Adaptability: Proven ability to remain focused and make sound judgments in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.

Physical Requirements

Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive motions (scrubbing/wiping) for extended periods.

Travel: Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time (potentially up to one month for special assignments).

Pre-Employment: Must pass a background check, drug screen, and potentially a physical screening for safety-sensitive positions.

Work Location: In person
