The Automotive Technician, reporting to Store and Service Managers, performs both basic and advanced vehicle maintenance and repairs, inspects vehicles, diagnoses issues, and ensures optimal vehicle performance while providing excellent customer service.
Primary responsibilities include applying automotive repair knowledge, analyzing problems, replacing defective parts, performing preventative maintenance, and staying current with automotive technology. They must adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications include at least 2 years of automotive experience, ASE certification preferred, valid driver's license, and strong communication skills. Must be willing to work Saturdays and pass a background check.
Physical requirements involve prolonged standing, bending, and exerting force to move objects, with an understanding of physical demands for this role.
