Audio Visual Systems Engineer - Computer System Analyst III

Clearance: **Must have an Active SECRET Clearance**

Position Description:
Network Runners is seeking a Audio Visual Systems Engineer - Computer System Analyst III to support the United States Army Fires Center of Excellence (USAFCoE), Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) office. The Audio Visual Systems Engineer - Computer System Analyst III will provide technical and administrative coordination of all customer and Contractor generated IT work orders through the work order system, which is currently Army Enterprise Service Management Platform (AESMP).

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the Audio-Visual Systems Engineer and notify the COR of any AVL‑VC system issues that cannot be resolved within four hours.
  • Perform duties of the Audio-Visual Specialist as required based on government needs.
  • Provide AVL‑VC support for approximately 425 classrooms, conference rooms, and auditoriums, ensuring all equipment is operational and required maintenance is performed: support approximately 10 rooms with videoconferencing equipment requiring additional sustainment.
  • Develop plans for post‑wide AVL‑VC sustainment, operations, and enhancements, including conceptual designs and cost estimates.
  • Participate in planning meetings for large special events to determine AVL‑VC requirements and develop event support plans.
  • For major events, remain on‑site to operate or provide guidance to other operators to ensure AVL‑VC systems perform as designed.
  • Configure AV systems and equipment such as Crestron, AMX, Extron, Biamp, and matrix mixers/switchers.
  • Provide user training on correct operation and maintenance of AVL‑VC systems and troubleshoot wired or wireless data networks to support AVL‑VC, developing problem statements for network support staff when required.
  • Perform needs assessments and site surveys for technology systems, create conceptual designs and cost estimates, and provide technical information to support requests for quotes; assist with oversight of technology system projects and upgrades.
  • Maintain a daily log of work performed, create SharePoint, FCP, and AESMP tickets for each issue, and provide monthly reports of work completed or pending.
  • Sustain and operate senior leadership AVL‑VC systems in conference rooms and auditoriums, ensuring they perform as designed; repair within five working days or obtain COR‑approved extension; sustain non‑senior leadership AVL‑VC systems and repair within ten days.
Required/Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience in design, development, implementation, installation, operations, and sustainment of AVL‑VC systems for large and small facilities.
  • Current InfoComm International Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification.
  • At least ten (10) years of verifiable experience with digital sound processors, digital projection and display, and control systems equipment installation and operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology‑related field is desired but not required.
  • Physical ability to walk, stand, kneel, squat, bend, lift, and push while performing various job tasks, and ability to work at heights (catwalks, lifts, etc.) in dimly lit venues and tight spaces; ability to lift and transport moderately heavy equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent visual acuity and hearing and ability to read and understand architectural plans and schematic line drawings.
  • SECRET clearance required.
