Job Title: Associate Scientist II – BioChemical Analysis
Location: Onsite
Pay Rate: $26/hr
Duration: 6 Months (Temp to Hire)


Job Description

Associate Scientist II is responsible for executing analytical testing and supporting method development for large molecule/biologics under cGMP conditions. The role involves performing laboratory assays, generating data, and supporting stability studies using advanced analytical techniques.


Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field


Required Skills

  • Hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC techniques (SEC, IEX, RP-HPLC, HIC)

  • Experience with protein characterization techniques (peptide mapping, glycan analysis)

  • Knowledge of aggregation analysis methods (MFI, AUC, SEC-MALS)

  • Experience with electrophoresis techniques (CE-SDS, SDS-PAGE, icIEF, IEF, Western Blot)

  • Familiarity with compendial assays (pH, osmolality, viscosity, particulate testing)

  • Experience with analytical tools such as UV-Vis and Karl Fischer titration

  • Understanding of cGMP documentation and regulatory compliance in laboratory environments


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with biophysical characterization techniques (FTIR, CD, DSC, intrinsic fluorescence)

  • Exposure to biologics development and stability studies

  • Method development or method transfer experience in a GMP setting
