The primary role of the Director for Experiential Education is to prepare students for their future endeavors by giving them practical, hands-on experiences that deepen their understanding and build essential skills by connecting classroom learning to real-world applications. These programs foster professional readiness and increase student engagement.

This role collaborates with faculty, administrators, and external partners to curate programs that include internships, service learning, field trips, and other experiential learning opportunities. This role also plays a pivotal role in assessing and continuously improving the quality and impact of experiential learning programs.

This position will be responsible for the Experiential Education program with a specific focus on Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE) while supervising others with focuses in Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE) and Preceptor Site Coordination visits.

This position will also hold faculty rank within the Pharmacy Practice department along with teaching responsibilities (0.25 FTE).
