This part-time Assistant to the Chair provides administrative and research support to the Department’s leadership.
Responsibilities include managing schedules, coordinating meetings and events, preparing reports and presentations, and handling communications with internal and external stakeholders.
Supports faculty affairs, including faculty appointments, evaluations, and policy updates.
Assists students and alumni by triaging inquiries and providing office support.
Manages departmental website updates, newsletter preparation, and office organization.
Requires strong organizational, communication, and confidentiality skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe, and preferred experience with PeopleSoft and calendaring.
This role involves frequent interaction with university leadership, faculty, staff, students, alumni, and external partners.
