CHRISTIAN PURPOSE AND EXPECTATIONS:
All employees proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through their employment, and thereby further BGEA’s religious mission.
Department Detail –The Internet Evangelism department takes the Gospel to the world through SearchforJesus.net, a ministry built on digital tools and online strategies. Through websites like PeaceWithGod.net and various social media platforms, the Good News goes out in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Arabic, Russian, and American Sign Language. Online visitors to these pages engage with trained volunteers through chat, private messaging, texts, and emails to get their spiritual questions answered. Those who respond to the Gospel invitation are mentored by discipleship volunteers as they go through online Bible study courses and are referred to local churches in their area.
Job Summary –The Assistant Director of Analytics and Insights provides leadership for reporting, KPI governance, executive insight, and cross-functional visibility across Internet Evangelism. This role helps leaders understand what is happening across the digital evangelism funnel, why it is happening, and what actions should be considered in response. The role also supports leadership-level program management by coordinating review rhythms, tracking major priorities, surfacing blockers and dependencies, and strengthening accountability for follow-through.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the development and standardization of dashboards, scorecards, recurring reports, and executive-level performance insights across Internet Evangelism
- Define and maintain core KPIs across traffic, engagement, conversations, follow-up, and related ministry outcomes
- Interpret data across product, digital strategy, and ministry functions to identify trends, risks, opportunities, bottlenecks, and areas requiring further analysis or intervention
- Translate complex, imperfect, or fragmented data into practical insights, recommendations, and tradeoffs for leadership decision-making
- Support the Vice President and departmental leaders with planning, prioritization, performance management, and leadership-level tracking of major initiatives
- Establish and manage monthly and quarterly review rhythms for departmental performance and initiative progress
- Track major priorities and cross-functional initiatives at the leadership level
- Surface blockers, dependencies, and execution risks across teams
- Strengthen accountability and follow-through by creating clear review and escalation mechanisms
- Support annual planning and prioritization processes through structured analysis and progress tracking
- Serve as a central point of coordination for leadership-level performance and initiative review
- Work closely with ministry, technology, and digital strategy leaders to create shared visibility into goals and progress
- Help align teams around common definitions, reporting standards, and priorities

Job Specifications
Skills and Knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in business, analytics, operations, management, information systems, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Master's degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, or Business Analytics preferred.
- Significant experience in analytics, business operations, strategy and operations, program management, or a comparable leadership role
- Experience building, refining, and presenting executive-level reporting and performance insights, supporting senior leaders with strategy, prioritization, and decision-making
- Experience supporting cross-functional planning, prioritization, or execution across multiple teams
- Demonstrated ability to move from data to insight to recommendation
- Strong analytical and interpretive ability, including the ability to synthesize complex information into concise executive insight
- Ability to establish reporting discipline, KPI consistency, and useful operating rhythms without unnecessary bureaucracy
- Demonstrated leadership ability, including formal people management or functional leadership across teams. Can lead through influence across teams that do not report directly into the role.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both detailed operational teams and executive leadership
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong judgment, organization, and attention to detail
- Preferred experience in digital product, digital marketing, service operations, customer journey analysis, or multi-channel engagement environments
- Preferred experience working with KPI frameworks, funnel analysis, dashboards, and performance review cadence, as well as data visualization tools like Tableau
- Preferred experience in a nonprofit, ministry, or mission-driven environment

- We believe God wonderfully and immutably creates each person a biological male or female. These two distinct, but complementary sexes together reflect the image and likeness of God.
