The Admissions Nurse serves as the primary contact for patients entering the facility, ensuring a smooth transition into care.
They conduct initial assessments, gather medical histories, verify documentation, and collaborate with the team to develop treatment plans.
- Must hold an active, unencumbered LPN license in Arizona.
- Must be fluent in English and able to make independent decisions.
- Ability to communicate tactfully with residents, families, staff, and external agencies.
- Knowledge of nursing practices, laws, and regulations related to long-term care.
- Leadership skills and the ability to supervise and coordinate care programs.
- Patience, tact, enthusiasm, and willingness to adopt new nursing methods.
- Ability to communicate resident conditions effectively and ensure safety.
- Must not pose health or safety risks to others in the workplace.
Additional requirements include an active Arizona nursing license, fingerprint clearance, CPR/BLS certification, and IV certification.
