This position provides administrative support to the Chief Communications Officer and team, managing daily operations such as budgeting, scheduling, vendor coordination, travel arrangements, and communication with the public.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with experience in office administration, budgeting, or related fields, and proficiency in office skills, typing, and bilingual communication (English/Spanish).
Key responsibilities involve maintaining budgets, coordinating meetings and events, handling correspondence, translating materials, and ensuring effective community relations. The role requires strong communication, multitasking abilities, and the capacity to work under pressure.
Additional duties include organizing materials, maintaining supplies, assisting with department activities, and attending after-hours events. The work environment includes indoor and outdoor conditions, with physical and mental demands typical of office support roles.
Work is scheduled for 243 days, with a pay grade of Admin Support 7.
