Salary/Hourly Rate:
$23/hr

Position Overview:
The Administrative Assistant will provide clerical support to engineering teams, manage office operations, and ensure efficient workflow. They will maintain files, schedule appointments, and assist with correspondence.

Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:
  • Answer telephones, direct calls, and provide information.
  • Greet visitors and handle inquiries.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments.
  • Create, maintain, and enter information into databases.
  • Operate office equipment and arrange repairs.
  • Compose, type, and distribute meeting notes and reports.
  • Organize and maintain paper and electronic files.
  • Coordinate internal and external communications.
  • Assist with routine administrative tasks and paperwork.
Required Experience/Skills for the Administrative Assistant:
  • Proficiency with computers and office software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs).
  • Professional written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time.
  • Experience with scheduling and calendar management.
  • Familiarity with databases and filing systems.
  • Professional demeanor and customer service orientation.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Administrative Assistant:
  • Experience in an engineering or technical environment.
  • Exposure to business intelligence or ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle PeopleSoft).
  • Knowledge of data privacy and compliance practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
