We are seeking a dedicated Activities Director to develop and implement engaging, person-centered activity programs that enhance resident engagement and quality of life.
- Assist residents with activities, encouraging participation and supporting cognitive, physical, and emotional well-being.
- Lead group and individual activities, coordinate arts and crafts, and support community outings and special events.
- Maintain records of attendance, volunteer coordination, and adapt activities to meet individual care plans.
- Distribute activity calendars, assist with decorating, and celebrate resident birthdays.
- Support operations such as the resident store, report incidents, safety concerns, and maintenance issues.
- Participate in staff meetings and training, perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications include a high school diploma, active activities certification, flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and at least 10 hours of annual training in recreation or activities.
