Staff Accountant, Accounts Payable Focus
Location: Commerce, CA (On-site)
Salary Range: $65,000–$85,000 (DOE) + Bonus & Benefits

Overview:
We’re partnering with a fast-growing, nationally recognized brand to help hire a Staff Accountant focused on Accounts Payable. This is a high-volume, fast-paced role ideal for an experienced AP professional who thrives in dynamic environments. The team is seeking a degreed Accountant with AP focus with a minimum of 2–3 years of experience, excellent multitasking skills, and a strong foundation in accounting operations. Apparel or eCommerce industry experience is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the AP-related month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  Prepare monthly accruals in coordination with the global accounting team
• Process and manage 250–500 invoices per week, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for key vendors
• Reconcile vendor statements, identify discrepancies, and work cross-functionally to resolve issues
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure timely payments and accurate records
• Recommend and help implement process improvements and system efficiencies
• Contribute to business-critical projects, including systems and automation initiatives
• Work closely with international teams to support global accounting needs
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist with audit-related documentation
• Take on additional tasks or projects as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field required
• 2–3 years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience
• Proven success in high-volume environments (250–500 invoices/week)
• Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively under pressure
• Experience with Concur preferred; exposure to FDM4 a plus but not required
• Apparel or retail industry experience is a bonus, not a requirement
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Excel and standard accounting systems

• Base Salary: $65,000–$85,000 DOE
