Seasonal Able Seaman opportunity in Alaska for the 2026 summer season (May-October).
Work involves supporting tug and barge operations in remote Alaskan waters, making up tows, maintaining safety, and performing vessel maintenance under the supervision of the captain.
Qualifications include a valid USCG MMC with AB endorsement, TWIC, U.S. passport, driver’s license, and high school diploma or equivalent. Must pass background checks and meet entry requirements for Canada.
Physical demands include working at heights, in various weather conditions, and lifting or handling deck equipment. Lodging, meals, and transportation are provided onboard.
