Seeking an A&P Lead Mechanic for the AIS Program in Crestview, FL.
Responsibilities include supervising mechanics, assigning work, and ensuring maintenance complies with FAA regulations.
Perform and approve repairs, troubleshoot complex issues, and maintain accurate records.
Operate support equipment and promote safety and organization.
Lead aircraft deliveries, coordinate with departments, and serve as the primary maintenance contact.
Require FAA A&P certification within 60 days, with at least 8 years of aircraft maintenance experience, preferably with specific aircraft types like King Air, C-130, and Garmin systems.
Must have strong troubleshooting, organizational, and leadership skills, with flexibility to work various shifts and conditions.
Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and work at heights is necessary.
Prior supervisory experience and knowledge of FAA regulations are preferred.
