We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Tax Manager to join our team in the mortgage industry. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to work remotely while leading and managing multiple operations related to taxation. The ideal candidate will possess substantial knowledge of High Net Worth, S Corp, Individual tax review, Estate Planning, real estate, and private foundations. The ability to mentor and coach staff, coupled with strong leadership qualities, is essential. The candidate must also have a proven track record in business development, with a particular focus on ultra-high-net-worth individuals.

Responsibilities:
As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Managing and overseeing the entire tax planning process for high net worth individuals, S Corp, and partnerships.
2. Reviewing complex tax returns including federal and multi-state returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
3. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients through exceptional service and expertise in the field of taxation.
4. Providing mentorship, coaching, and leadership to junior staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
5. Assisting in the business development activities, including the creation and implementation of strategic tax planning for ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
6. Providing expert guidance on matters related to real estate, private foundations, and estate planning.
7. Ensuring compliance with state and federal tax laws and regulations.
8. Collaborating with the team to improve client satisfaction and overall business performance.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is highly preferred.
2. A minimum of 7 years of experience in tax management, with a focus on high net worth individuals, S Corp, and partnerships.
3. Extensive experience in reviewing complex tax returns and offering tailored tax planning solutions.
4. Demonstrated leadership skills, with a proven ability to mentor and coach staff.
5. Strong business development skills, with a focus on serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
6. In-depth knowledge of estate planning, private foundations, and real estate.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.
8. Proficiency in tax software and technology tools.
9. Previous experience in a public accounting firm is highly desirable.
10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
