Recruiter

Recruiters are responsible for attracting new job candidates to a position. Recruiters assess the staffing needs of their company or organization and seek individuals that are the right fit for current openings.

A typical day for a recruiter may include:

  • Reaching out to potential job seekers through colleges, high schools, the media, internet sources, and other community resources
  • Assessing the skills and experience of applicants to determine whether they're a good fit for open roles
  • Interviewing applicants, checking references from their resumes, and assessing the accuracy and validity of reported skills and achievements
  • Coordinating new employee hiring, training, onboarding, and relocation when applicable.
