Transdev North America is the largest private sector operator of multiple modes of transit in North America, providing bus, rail, paratransit, shuttle, sedan and taxi services. We manage over 200 transportation contracts for cities, transit authorities and airports, providing safe and sustainable mobility solutions. Our mission is to improve public transportation, to enhance quality of life and combat global warming.

The On-Demand division of Transdev North America manages those businesses that respond directly to consumer requests for transportation.

This division includes our SuperShuttleExecuCar (private sedan service) and Taxi businesses, which earn revenue directly from consumer/retail payments. It also includes several specialty businesses, such as Compass Transportation in San Francisco, which provides commuter shuttles and tour bus services, and Golden Touch Transportation, which provides many specialized transportation services in the New York area, including airline crew transfers.

Despite some important inherent differences between our demand-response business and Transdev’s Transit and Rail divisions, our On-Demand division shares a common philosophical foundation with Transdev’s public transit businesses. The goal of Transdev North America as a whole is always to provide safe and sustainable mobility solutions to our customers.
