Europe's new Airbus A400M military transport aircraft will be equipped with Saft ULM® (Ultra Low Maintenance) rechargeable nickel-cadmium batteries
The new Airbus A400M tactical transport turboprop aircraft, scheduled to make its first flight in early 2008, will use Saft ULM® rechargeable nickel-cadmium batteries to provide on-board power for engine starting and electrical systems back-up.
