We also operate Reading Hospital Rehabilitation at Wyomissing and Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences, and we have a comprehensive physician network. All of our facilities participate in our partnership with the UPMC Health Plan.

Who We Are

Reading Hospital is independently owned and not-for-profit, which gives us the freedom to innovate and expand. We provide acute care, rehabilitation, behavioral and occupational health services to the people of Berks and adjoining counties.

With a staff of more than 7,300 employees, we are the county's largest employer. Our affiliation with Thomas Jefferson University provides us with teaching status and many clinical research studies.
