Our Concept and Operation

Our concept is simple and unique…we only one love, great tasting chicken fingers! At Raising Cane’s we consistently serve and exceptionally serve a high quality product with fast food speed and convenience. We can do this because we offer a limited menu. The specialized systems developed by Raising Cane’s allows us to maintain a level of quality unmatched in the industry. Our commitment to this concept will not allow us to compromise our quality, cut corners or clutter our menu with new products that do not fit our core offering.

Our Product

Raising Cane’s is committed to providing a superior quality product. We only use fresh premium tenderloins, never frozen, marinate them for at least 24 hours, then batter, flour and season by hand. Our crinkle cut fries are grade A, extra-long fancy cut Idaho potatoes. Crisp, fresh cabbage, carrots and creamy coleslaw dressing are mixed daily. The Texas Toast at Raising Cane’s is thick sliced bread brushed lightly with garlic butter and toasted on our flat griddle. Our Cane’s sauce is a unique, secret recipe made with the highest quality ingredients. At Raising Cane’s all our food is cooked to order… not just “made to order”.

Competitive Advantage

This is why we have a strong competitive advantage. Sure, many restaurants have chicken fingers, tenders, nuggets, strips, etc. Most serve poor quality chicken, often frozen and pre-battered. Few marinate or cook-to-order and no one has a sauce to match our Cane’s sauce. Most pre-cook large batches and let their fingers sit under a heat lamp with the rest of their other products to keep their service fast. For competitors to use premium fresh chicken tenderloin and prepare it in a cook-to-order system with the same speed and price points as their other products would be changing their concept and impractical.

At Cane’s we work hard, have fun and appreciate each other.  Our culture involves respect, recognition and rewards to each crew member. We work hard, play music, dance, joke, sing and focus on serving each customer a perfect box of chicken as quickly as we can in a friendly, clean restaurant we can all be proud of.
