Regina Mellinger, the founder, owner, and president of Primary Services, has more than 30 years of staffing industry experience. After starting her career with both local and national firms, Regina opened Primary Services in 1988 when she saw the possibility for a different kind of staffing firm, a firm that focused on putting clients’ and applicants’ needs first.
Founded in 1988, Primary Services started quickly as Regina led her team to achieve in 90 days the goals initially set to be accomplished within a year. In 1989, a powerful IT framework was laid for future success as Primary developed Tempsoft, its own proprietary, integrated software system that provides a competitive advantage for back office management. In the years that followed, Primary expanded its services; staffing for a greater variety of job functions; making direct hire placement; launching outsourced and on-site recruiting programs with Fortune 500 companies; and offering HR/recruitment consulting and training to its clients. 2011 saw the establishment of a new branch of Primary Services in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As our presence continued to expand, we were recognized as a top supplier by some of the world’s largest companies. Our continuing growth throughout the years of 2011 – 2014 led Primary to become one of the 15 largest staffing firms in the Houston area as recognized by the Houston Business Journal.
